Hello! I am a lifelong artist dedicated to multiple crafts. For over a decade, I was a musician, primarily as a flutist, with my undergrad flute performance. As my life goals shifted, I found new ways to express my creativity. I get to express my creativity in the day-to-day work I do, but it's not the same a creating art. 

I felt limited in my creativity by specializing in flute, so I turned to other art forms. As a girl, my grandmother used to paint, embroider, write, and more. I find myself following in her footsteps, but have taken a special interest in embroidery. I've also taken to knitting, painting, and poetry. Between my wide variety of artistic outlets, I found myself wanting to share my art with others. With that, Aleida's Art was created.
